[ ] Match the name, original capacity, and seller description. A single model number is not enough.
[ ] Ask for an uninterrupted demonstration of startup, the wheel, buttons, and screen.
[ ] Check both audio channels, volume, charging, and computer recognition.
[ ] Record the conditions of any battery demonstration. Powering on while plugged in does not prove battery life.
[ ] Confirm included accessories, repair or modification history, and the applicable return terms.
[ ] Photograph the package, body, and ports on arrival. Stop use and charging if there is swelling, an unusual smell, or abnormal heat.
[ ] Do not restore, erase, or accept automatic syncing before understanding what it changes.
[ ] Record each check as passed, a concern, or not tested. Address problems within the applicable return window.
